			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><font color="#00ff00" face="Calibri" size="3">As we move further and further down the never ending rabbit hole of technology, the biggest question we can ask ourselves is this. How can I harness these trends for maximum ROI for ME.INC, meaning you or your business? That truly is the biggest question some of the biggest corporations in America are also asking. With the speed of the micro processor doubling every 18 months and the amount of bandwidth growing exponentially increasing the availability to every human being in the world, the potential for economic gain seems limitless right? Wrong!! It only becomes limitless when we, as in you and I know how to get in front of the wave and use its power to drive us where we want to go.  Let me tell you a story I stole from Terri Sjodin, a nationally known marketing and sales speaker. Terri told a story explaining the different cultural eating habits of bananas. As crazy as that line sounds it has a significant amount of relativity in business. She began to explain that the United States is one of the only cultures who peals there bananas the way we do, in fact the way Americans peal their bananas is completely opposite than most of the world. Most of you, including myself were raised to pull the stem backwards, peal the skin down and then munch down of the fruit. The astonishing fact is that if you were to pinch the bottom of your banana off , the skin it would naturally peel its self off the body of the fruit. In fact, Terri explained that this is in fact the most efficient way to peel the skin off a banana. What boggles my mind is this; every person I have ever come across in my lifetime has always peeled the banana the exact opposite way God intended the banana to be peeled, meaning we have been trained and taught to do things in correctly and have embraced it as an acceptable way to eat a banana. So what does this mean for business? Simple. What has worked is not necessarily the way things should work and will work once people see how things are really suppose to work. What does that mean on a micro level for your business as well as every other business and corporation in America? It means that things are changing, from the way we market, to the way we research and develop, to the way we distribute, to the way we track, to the way we communicate, and ultimately what it means is that the companies of today will not be the stars of the future, unless they embrace 180 degree change. How does all of this affect you and your real estate business? Tremendously, every month I cringe at the loss of revenue I see. It seems that people,  at least most people are still living in caves, and they haven&#8217;t begun to see the dawning of their era quite yet. Just as people laughed at Einstein, Edison, Rockefeller, and Carnegie many once laughed at Bill Gates acquisition of HoteMail, they laughed at Google&#8217;s add revenue model, they laughed Myspace&#8217;s Social Community, and they laughed at Zuckerberg when he declined A BILLION DOLLAR OFFER FROM YAHOO, A BILLION DOLLAR OFFER. And now who is laughing? The Critics or those being criticized? Of course from our perception now we laugh at those who once laughed. So are you laughing at the power of the nerds who c</font><font color="#00ff00" face="Calibri" size="3">reated the most significant invention in the history of the 21st century or are you embracing their thinking?</font></p>

<p align="justify"><font color="#00ff00" face="Calibri" size="3"> Here are some sim</font><font color="#00ff00" face="Calibri" size="3">ple reasons why I </font><font color="#00ff00" face="Calibri" size="3">make these cold black and white statemnts. Although you may all have pretty websites, with beautiful homes on them, and you may even spend 20, 30, or 40k and month on advertisement in your local Homes and Land Magazine or your local print out, frankly it doesn&#8217;t work as well as it has in the last 25 years, and you and i know both know that.</font> <font color="#00ff00" face="Calibri" size="3">The fact is this, as soon as someone sees that home they want they check it out online. They get a comp from Zillow or one of the many online comp companies, they then look at the pictures, then they have dinner and about the house they saw online that day. Key point, they talk about the house they saw online that day. Although they first saw the house in a magazine they went online to look at, and what&#8217;s most important is this. 80% of homes on the market are seen, researched, priced, and sold before they ever hit your office door, which makes your job very easy if you have an online presence. So for you this is good news, you can save your self thousands of dollars a month in advertisement as long as you hold a firm online presence for the areas in which you buy and sell real estate. The most astonishing part about all of this is this!!! No one right now is grabbing authority with their online presence, they are not using the web to communicate efficiently, they are not using other people brains, ideas, and thoughts to build their companies. What&#8217;s funny to me is this, Google did it, so did MySpace, so did YouTube, so did Flicr, so did Ashley Scholls of <a href="http://whateverlife.com/">Whateverlife.com</a>, so did Lonleygir15, so why aren&#8217;t they, you, me and everybody else I know? If these teenage punks are making BILLIONS of dollars from online social media and video trends why isnt the Real Estate Tycoon, why not the insurance broker? why not the car dealership? Why, its not for lack of intelligence, its called ignorance, which means we have ignored it, (the word ignore is the Greek root for ignorance) we haven&#8217;t studied it, we haven&#8217;t sought after its power, and at the end of the day we have denied that change happens.  So how do you fix this? CHANGE. Study, Search, Seek, and engulf  yourself with a company or people who can help you leverage this type of technology, or as Bill Gates said in his book &#8220;Business at the Speed of Thought&#8221; you wont be in business in 5 years.</font></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> Recently I have been reading through the Little Red Book of Selling, 12.5 Principles of Sales Greatness, and running over and over into comments about getting to the customer what they really want. This creates a dynamic of sowing and reaping that really challenges the way I think about sales and serving our customer base. When you look at the sales training and techniques of most organizations it is heavily influenced to overcome objections, probe with questions that lead the conversation in a certain direction, provide facts, FAQs, and statistics of business trends. Most sales training I have been to in the past is a matter of being the know all, which most sales people do know it all, don&#8217;t they?</p>
<p>Here is what I come across now, in sales training I have recently attended and in reading the book &#8212; get into the hands of your customers, into their heads, their lives, their actions, that what you provide, what I provide, is going to make a difference in what they do. The solution my product gives is what you need because it boosts productivity, provides a way to increase profit margins and gain new market share, will free up your time from all the hassles of sitting in traffic and wasting time.</p>
<p>By the way, on the flip side, if you can&#8217;t find a niche for your product or service that can give your customer what they really want &#8212; change your product and move to a new line of business. Take care all!</p>
